Employees at Dembo Jones helped get kids off the sidelines and onto the playing field when they volunteered in May at Leveling the Playing Field (LPF).

At LPF’s Silver Spring location, our staff helped the nonprofit organization move to its new warehouse; in Baltimore, we sorted donated equipment. In addition, our employees donated sporting goods that will be distributed to children.

LPF collects new and used sports and playground equipment, and distributes it to schools and organizations working with under-resourced youth groups, community programs and schools throughout the local area. This allows programs and schools to reallocate their equipment funds and expand the availability of their programs in ways that include offering after-school transportation, purchasing snacks and beverages for participants, and hiring and training more staff to run additional programs and provide more personalized coaching and supervision.

Dembo Jones has been pleased to support our client LPF as it grows and expands its geographic footprint.
