Jim Green Elected Treasurer of First Tee-Howard County
Dembo Jones Director Jim Green has been elected Treasurer of First Tee-Howard County, the youth development not-for-profit that enables kids to build strength of character for a lifetime of new challenges.
By integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, First Tee-Howard County creates active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry in everything they do. Programs for children ages 5-18 are offered after-school and on weekends at the Fairways Hills Golf Course in Columbia.
First Tee began in 1997 as a partnership among the LPGA, the Masters Tournament, the PGA of America, the PGA TOUR, and the USGA. The Howard County chapter is one of 1,500 around the country.
Jim has been a member of the First Tee-Howard County board for two years.
