Dembo Jones is proud to expand its support of leadership development initiatives in Howard County by sponsoring Leadership U, a transformational program for Howard County high school juniors organized by the nonprofit Leadership Howard County.

Leadership U works to “cultivate a generation of socially conscious leaders” through a four month program of student-led initiatives that improve the Howard County community. By working with fellow students and area leaders on projects such as raising money for a free bike program or expanding mental health support for teens, participants access meaningful mentorships and build real-world experience, teamwork skills, and a deeper understanding of Howard County’s government and business community.

Leadership Howard County helps prepare local leaders to have a positive impact on the County, including business leaders, elected officials, and students.
