Dembo Jones Sponsors and Competes at Howard Community College 5K

Nine staff members (and a couple of friends) made for a spirited Dembo Jones team that laced up their sneakers and ran, climbed, and crawled their way across campus to the finish line at the annual Howard Community College 5K Challenge Race on October 10. Dembo Jones is a long-time sponsor of the annual event that raises funds for student scholarships through the Howard Community College Educational Foundation (HCCEF).

As a “Sprinter” sponsor, it was great for the Dembo Jones team to connect with fellow organizations and competitors at our tent in the post-race Celebration Village.

In 2020, almost 50% of HCC students needed some form of financial aid. 100% of funds donated to the HCCEF are used to help students achieve their educational goals. To learn more about Howard Community College and the Foundation, visit http://www.howardcc.edu
