Dembo Jones has been named one of “America’s Top Recommended Tax and Accounting Firms” by Forbes. Dembo Jones is one of only six firms in Maryland on the Forbes list and was one of only three firms recognized for both tax and accounting services.

This is a distinction shared by fewer than half of the firms on the national list.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to consider 1,800 survey responses from CPAs, enrolled agents, tax lawyers, accountants and CFOs as the basis for its recommendations. Survey participants who work for a tax or accounting firm recommended up to ten firms for each practice area that they would recommend if their company were not able to take on a client.

Survey participants who work in a company on the client-side were asked to name firms in tax and accounting that they would recommend based on their professional experience during the last three years. “Recommendations and referrals are the strongest endorsements of our work,” said Walter Pennington, President of Dembo Jones. “We’re grateful to our peers for this recognition.
