CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) STATEMENT
As we monitor ongoing developments and safety information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to reach out and let you know how Dembo Jones is addressing these issues. Since the day we were founded, we have been organized around two priorities: exceptional client service and our steadfast commitment to our employees. Today, we are using those same principles to guide us in our response to the threat of COVID-19.
Like many organizations, we have made significant investments in technology to allow our people to work virtually anywhere. Beginning March 16th, we are encouraging all of our employees to work from home, if at all possible. Our offices will remain open to facilitate the flow of client information, but the majority of our workforce will be working remotely to protect themselves and our clients, and to be in position to deliver the excellent client service you expect from our organization.
Given the recommendations of health officials, we are asking staff to postpone on-site client visits and in-office client meetings, or conduct them virtually, until the Maryland restrictions are lifted. We will remain accessible via telephone, video conferencing, e-mail and fax. We encourage you to provide data to us via mail or FedEx, or better yet, electronically. We will continue to provide our work product (tax returns, financial statements, etc.) electronically as the primary delivery method.
We are closely following guidance from public health authorities, including the Center for Disease Control (CDC), as well as state and local officials. We will continue to update and adjust our contingency plans to respond to the guidance we receive.
Thank you for your confidence in Dembo Jones, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this difficult and fluid situation. We hope that you, your employees and your family stay safe and healthy and that this health crisis ends very soon.
