For more than 40 years, Manna Food Center has worked to make Montgomery County a place where everyone can access healthy foods needed to live fulfilling lives. Manna Food Center distributes more than 12,000 pounds of food every day, and serves more than 50,000 community members with support from 33,000+ volunteer hours a year. The Center offers 25 food distribution sites, 32 pop-up pantries, 80 food and cooking workshops, and dozens of partnering farms and farmers markets.
“The Manna Food Center does important work every day to elevate all residents in need in Montgomery County,” said Chris. “I’m proud to join the Board and lend my interest and knowledge to a nonprofit doing such crucial work in the community I call home. ”
