Dembo Jones is a sponsor of the annual 2022 Keep DC Safe event, being held at The Eleanor Bowling Lounge, Bar and Grille in Washington, DC on October 27, 2022. The family-friendly event will celebrate the organization’s 16 years of service with food, drinks, arcade games, bowling and an awards ceremony to honor outstanding members in the community.

DC Safe advocates for over 8,000 clients each year through partnerships with government agencies and community-based organizations that survivors rely on to achieve safety and stability. Direct services—crisis response, supportive advocacy, and emergency women’s shelter—are evidence-based and operate through an empowerment framework of advocacy that enables survivors of domestic violence to determine the best next steps in their lives. DC SAFE provides victim advocate training and technical assistance to government agencies, community-based organizations, faith communities, and other professionals who encounter domestic violence in their work.
